¼cupdehydrated cooked rice
¼cupdehydrated black beans
2tablespoonsdehydrated ground beef
1packbeef jerkyabout 30g / 1oz, cut into smaller pieces
1tablespoondehydrated ham
1teaspoonroast beef gravy mix
1teaspoondried parsley
½teaspoonbouillon powder
½teaspoonsweet smoked paprika
¼teaspoononion powder
⅛teaspoongarlic powder
Instructions
AT HOME
Mix all the ingredients in a medium-sized zip lock bag.
ON THE TRAIL
Pour Feijoada mixture into the pot; add 1 cup water.
Place pot over medium heat and bring to the boil.
Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for another 5 minutes to rehydrate meal completely.
