Thanks to a generous donation from Dave Schneider, our program is transitioning to rechargeable batteries and induction stoves for our car camping outings. This initiative will significantly reduce our reliance on propane, benefiting the environment and ensuring a quieter campsite experience. Induction cooking is more efficient and easier to clean, with the added convenience of recharging batteries at home using solar power. While propane may still be used as an occasional backup, induction will now serve as our primary cooking method.
