Winter/Spring Volunteer Party

Meet your fellow volunteers at this dinner gathering in South Boulder. We'll provide the food, you bring drinks, and we'll hand out and swap stories of zany outings past. Note that this event immediately follows the first day of our volunteer training so it's a great chance to meet the new volunteers.

Snowshoeing Cabin Trip

Snowshoeing & Snow Caves in the Indian Peaks Wilderness

Difficulty: Easy | Client Agencies: Promotores ⟫ We'll snowshoe a short ways into the Indian Peaks Wilderness from the Moffat Tunnel trailhead, then whip up some hot chocolate, build some snow caves, and make snow ice cream. Survival Skills Workshop

Thorne Nature Center

Difficulty: Easy | Client Agencies: YAB⟫ This two-hour workshop will cover basic survival skills and an introduction on the use of topographic maps and software.
